Bless Me Ultima Chapter VIII Outline

Paraphrase:
It's spring now, and Antonio's brother's are getting restless. They
want to leave, and have no intention of following their father's
dream of going to California. They jokingly asked Antonio if he was
going to be a priest, and if he would bless them. He said he would
bless them, and made the sign of the cross like he had done in his
dream, but they just laughed. It must be their Márez blood. Antonio
wonders that because they are leaving, will he ever know them.

Techniques:
  · Foreshadowing I believe is used, again. The end of the chapter,
    after his brother's laughed at him, Antonio still wants to bless
    them. This is most definitely a sign that Antonio will grow up to
    be a priest if I ever saw one.
