Physics AP - Density of a Solid (#3) Problem: To figure out the density of four objects. Materials: Caliper, triple beam balance. Procedure: 0123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789 1. To density the cylinder with a hole you have to measure the cylinder's diameter, length, inside diameter, and depth of the hole using the caliper. Next measure the mass on the triple beam balance. 2. To density the whole cylinder you must measure the cylinder's diameter, and length. Then measure the mass on the triple beam balance. 3. For the density of the solid rectangle you have to measure the length, width, and height. Next measure the mass of the rect- angle. 4. To find the density of the solid ball you need to measure the diameter.
